Newspapers -hard copy will die and digital has taken over

This lockdown I have got out of the addiction of reading the newspaper. Forty four days of no hard copy newspapers, I have a host of digital platforms to follow for news. The FB has also umpteen number of TV channels who run video news channels . I choose @ZeeNews Hindi @ZeeNews English and don’t miss the DNA — daily news analysis with @SudhirChaudhary
YouTube news channels also transmit authentic stories .
There is also a host of fake news channels that package lies to create confusion in the minds of impressionable age groups usually with anti Indian narratives .
Twitter is a popular channel for news however it is limited in its objectivity.  It tends to twist news to suit the team that manages the likes and reach of some good users.
Quite a few celebrities are now named as Right Wing supporters
Fake news specialists in India are @Thewire @theQuint @scroll Sometimes @Reuters also peddles questionable news.
Once upon a time teachers in school used to tell us to read The Hindu Newspaper for its good authentic British English language editorials. Today is has lost much of Its readership because of its inclination to write on subjects directed at changing the narrative into a blatant obvious lies . The readership has considerably reduced and the language editing is no longer authentic English.
@NDTV specializes in sensationalism and twists narratives to suit the left liberals
Times of India once known for decent quality has become a paper loaded with over 90 percent advertisements in the Mumbai edition. The Bangalore edition is too slim and poorly sold .
Newspapers once used to be considered channels for transmission of the truth. There was a movie that supported a view that it must be true if it’s on the Sun newspaper.
I believe that newspapers should depict true news and not sensationalist or opinion based . It needs to be true and leave the reader to have an opinion . The Zee News has built a reputation of sharing the true authentic news and provide hope for the reader.
Many would have found new ways to use the bathroom in the morning without a newspaper or magazine. Many magazines also have gone out of fashion.
Inshots is a news providing apps online.

All opionions given above are my own and purely based on my own reading.
If emails twitter Instagram and FB enhance  its narrative twisting policies it may gain credence .
Few celebrities have quick news transmission pages that are credible. @swamy39 has a few million followers and he does have access to critical news that adds value to truth that is  embedded.
The Prime minister of India has a huge following on all SM channels.
When the lockdown opens I may consider solving the tough X-sudoku on the Deccan Herald a newspaper not too favorable to the government.
Sudoku solving allows  my mind perform gymnastics and make me alert happy positive right from early morning.
But for Sudoku I don’t consider The Deccan herald a good paper. The sports section is quite decent.
The new Indian express works to keep its news authentic.
The Republic Bharat has been a leader TV channel having over 60 percent prime time viewership and is recently embroiled in litigation on account of various reasons that is not easy to discuss here. The channel brand equity is purely the personal charisma and skills of the owner and key editor of news. It has kept a high level of TRP where the second is far away from 60 percent.
After the lockdown some newspapers may not restart. Specially the print versions .
New world gets its latest minute by minute update on news live  on Twitter and also on FB live and YouTube news reporting small channels.
I am happy I have moved to reading some e-papers for just a glance on ICICI Bank supported initiative that provides financial express The HT and the India. Express multiple editions to choose from .
I feel an iPad is easier to read than the iPhone. I can’t find bandwidth in my eyes now

Nice to review some thoughts this lock Down which has reduced the movement of few reporters.
Radio FM stations sadly also has gone spreading lies and anti Indian fair views recently and some RJs have  set up their image on different channels,

Thanks for reading the full piece
