Do we have rules for use of megaphones by vegetable vendors

I am woken up morning by 5:09 or 5:10 by the blaring of the loudspeakers with azzam calls. I am not a late riser but this loudspeaker is loud and definitely shakes me up to listen.
By 6:00 am and latest 6:30 Bangalore now has lots of vegetable  vendors blaring their megaphones from a autorixa or women carrying the same ahead of the push cart of vegetables spinach and other household needs. There is a cloth vendor also with a pick up van.
Thank god the garbage collector whistles loudly and is audible from over 500 metres south of our lane . Some days when we miss the collector’s visit my wife dreams of having heard the whistle to rush to the gate.
The coconut vendor used to have a megaphone that sounded Louder than the masjid azzam .
One day I could record the loud noise. Who would dare to ask the vendor to reduce the noise
The best was a lady holding an unobtrusive megaphone ahead of an Rixa but with a male voice. I laughed at the Male sound and female carrier.
This period life has taught innovations in sale of vegetables, fruits and more .
We don’t accept any vendor items and depend on the life saver big basket. Those delivery boys have been trained to ring a bell and leave the items on our door step. We have large covered baskets buckets for leaving our courier and vegetables.
The funny guy was from DTDC who insisted on a signature on his courier delivery sheet . We preferred he took away the parcel of food back . These are old companies who pay the
Delivery boys by no of signatures. This is shocking for me but true .
Beggars are now not visible .Who wants to veg and contract any hitch in life.
Our door bells, door handles, doors and front gate and it’s locks have been thoroughly sanitized many times. Washing of hands sanitizing vegetables tables and home spaces of storage has made us very alert to hygiene.
I collect about 6 trips of 5 litres cans of water form the tap installed in the door front of the home.
Noise safety hygiene clean homes is now a new normal.
Be safe keep home safe
Happy days are close by once the metro opens. Many festivals are around Be vigilant and safe

Bangalore 140 plus days indoors

what did I learn in the lockdown and unlock1-3

What have I learnt in these days when I am confined to the home of five bedrooms and two floors? I have explored the settings on Bose SoundTouch30 and listen some times to bang bang sound Baccara of the seventies. Baccara , they have a charm like that of ABBA or Boney-M mostly disco. The alternate is new amazon music which has lots of Hindi music and  electronic sounds.
Cooking does not seem a big problem - support to get the dough ready or the rolling of the Indian flat breads. I am an expert on peeling the papayas and cut ocra and beans. Cutting the hard Musk Melons is another story of safety and care for own fingers and hands.
I can take bath early morning, shave and look fresh just to move to the dining space.
Learnt to walk and go in circles also on the terrace.
Out terrace is more like the capital “E” alphabet to walk. I manage quietly over 3000 to 5000 steps.
Eating has become special as I have seen enthusiasm alone allows one to eat same chapaties or puris. The other breakfast choice has been upma of sooji and made of poha. Oil we have consumed less so In last 140 plus days we have had fried puris just 2 or three times.
When one is confined to the home and have a 4 member family the balcony and the terrace are new spaces to move .
I have also learnt to see it raining the day time and also in the night when window glasses play back the pitter patter od the rain drops.
Listening to the thunder is another quiet hobby. When engrossed in watching for the light that appears before the sound of the thunder.
School days science exams always tested our knowledge of speed of light and sound.
I don’t have to call my mother through sister as she left her body 75 days ago and not with CoVID.
The travel scare kept me away from the most important funeral after 1998 when my father left his body in Mumbai. Mother was with my sister in Ahmedabad.
The CoVID witch or ghost can I call, has provided new ways to live, eat, sing, dance, meditate, sleep or wake up.
Everyone is scared of the milkman so we closed his account. The newspaper vendor is also off our list. The garbage collector of wet waste is one more point of fear and terror. The dry garbage collectors gives us lots of pains of storage. His visit ls are just once in 7 or ten days. I won’t dare to call any war rooms to collect garbage.
Happy writing this update after many days of no blogging. But I have got ready for a certificate for completing a 8 weeks digital learning course .

Will show you my certificate once it arrives . I wish my certificate has a date on it .

Happy days be safe and secure inspite of unlock three where yoga and gym centres are also opened.
The scare has not gone web friends still discuss increasing cases and deaths
May god show us nice days good guests soon
