Seven Common types of Meditation

7 Common types of Meditation
1. Transcendental Meditation: The early days the world was attracted to the meditation technique taught by Maharishi. It was the famous Transcendental Meditation. All the stars across the world loved to be seen doing and practising TM they called.
2. Mindful meditation is the latest fad across the world for famous CEOs and founders of great companies and Startups. Mindfulness covers breathing, mindful eating, mindful speaking, mindful walking also and slowing down to ensure you are doing it rightly at all times. You pay attention to by focusing on what you are thinking and feeling at each moment. In the present moment. You may attempt to concentrate on your thoughts, feelings or sensations.
3- Loving-Kindness Meditation allows one to focus your energy to feel the warmth of love, kindness and other positive feelings. All kindness is definitely positive in its feeling. Loving meditation adds value to your feelings naturally.
4- Zen Meditation allows one to explore the nature of your being. The being of the human being is what adds value. IT prepares the body and mind to be calm in order to open yourself to the nature of the being.
5 Kundalini Yoga increases the person's vitality and consciousness. This practice is a mixture of physical and spiritual meditation using a combination of dynamic movement, breathing, focus and mantra chanting.
6 Spiritual meditation allows your inner self to connect to something deeper than your being. It lets you reflect on your own dealings until you become fully aware of your spiritual being. And reach personal happiness in meditation.
7 Vipassana meditation is a practice that has originated mainly in India and it helps you to transform yourself into a better person through silent and self-observation. Usually, it's a camp that is held for 10 days when the group transforms themselves into better being

Is your breath smooth?

Is your breath smooth?
Have you paid attention to your breath? How many of us really stop and watch the breath and pay attention to the temperature of the breath moving out or breath going in?
Breath is an important and major component of life, in fact, its life. What are we without breath? Just a bag of bones inside the skin we have as our largest organ.
Do you know skin also acts as a medium for the exit of toxins from the body? Sweat is one way of excretion of toxins
Breath is another major way to clear out the body of toxins. We breathe out the toxins through a process in the lungs.
Breath is a major connector to the mind. It works as a string for the control of the mind. Check your moods. They are impacted by the mind. The only link to the mind with the body is the breath.
Breath, when taken slow and steadily, is the secret of relaxation. Fast breathing is a sign of stress. 5- 7 breaths a minute is very relaxed slow in-breath and complete relaxation. Usually we breath 15- 16 breaths a minute in the busy schedule we plan for ourselves.
What is the importance of breath?
Breath is the link to the mind as I just stated here. It helps bring the mind under the control of your body.
The body also reacts with the moods with the nature of breath. Moods are determined by the nature of your breath. Fast breath is direct of a stressed person. You are scared you breathe fast when relaxed you breath slow deep breaths in.
When breath out is long its a sign of stress being released.
Each breath in refreshes the body and breath out relaxes the body.
Types of breathing techniques:
We have the Ujjayi breath or breath of victory. The breathing is down with a constriction in the epiglottis behind the throat
The bhastrika breath is the bellow breath which cleanses the lungs of the stresses. The bellow breath throws out the stress of the day.
The silent breath in meditation is silent and no sound in the throat or the nose. Its breath in normally through the nose and out through the nose. Unlike this method, the ujjayi breath throws out through the throat and with a sound in the throat.
Use of stoppage of breath is a mode of allowing the mind to relax and catch up with the breath and focus on the breath rather than the thoughts that keep the mind occupied throughout the day.
Taking a longer breath can increase the use of the lung capacity
Lung capacity we discuss in another session.

Do we have rules for use of megaphones by vegetable vendors

I am woken up morning by 5:09 or 5:10 by the blaring of the loudspeakers with azzam calls. I am not a late riser but this loudspeaker is loud and definitely shakes me up to listen.
By 6:00 am and latest 6:30 Bangalore now has lots of vegetable  vendors blaring their megaphones from a autorixa or women carrying the same ahead of the push cart of vegetables spinach and other household needs. There is a cloth vendor also with a pick up van.
Thank god the garbage collector whistles loudly and is audible from over 500 metres south of our lane . Some days when we miss the collector’s visit my wife dreams of having heard the whistle to rush to the gate.
The coconut vendor used to have a megaphone that sounded Louder than the masjid azzam .
One day I could record the loud noise. Who would dare to ask the vendor to reduce the noise
The best was a lady holding an unobtrusive megaphone ahead of an Rixa but with a male voice. I laughed at the Male sound and female carrier.
This period life has taught innovations in sale of vegetables, fruits and more .
We don’t accept any vendor items and depend on the life saver big basket. Those delivery boys have been trained to ring a bell and leave the items on our door step. We have large covered baskets buckets for leaving our courier and vegetables.
The funny guy was from DTDC who insisted on a signature on his courier delivery sheet . We preferred he took away the parcel of food back . These are old companies who pay the
Delivery boys by no of signatures. This is shocking for me but true .
Beggars are now not visible .Who wants to veg and contract any hitch in life.
Our door bells, door handles, doors and front gate and it’s locks have been thoroughly sanitized many times. Washing of hands sanitizing vegetables tables and home spaces of storage has made us very alert to hygiene.
I collect about 6 trips of 5 litres cans of water form the tap installed in the door front of the home.
Noise safety hygiene clean homes is now a new normal.
Be safe keep home safe
Happy days are close by once the metro opens. Many festivals are around Be vigilant and safe

Muralidharan R Nair
Bangalore 140 plus days indoors

what did I learn in the lockdown and unlock1-3

What have I learnt in these days when I am confined to the home of five bedrooms and two floors? I have explored the settings on Bose SoundTouch30 and listen some times to bang bang sound Baccara of the seventies. Baccara , they have a charm like that of ABBA or Boney-M mostly disco. The alternate is new amazon music which has lots of Hindi music and  electronic sounds.
Cooking does not seem a big problem - support to get the dough ready or the rolling of the Indian flat breads. I am an expert on peeling the papayas and cut ocra and beans. Cutting the hard Musk Melons is another story of safety and care for own fingers and hands.
I can take bath early morning, shave and look fresh just to move to the dining space.
Learnt to walk and go in circles also on the terrace.
Out terrace is more like the capital “E” alphabet to walk. I manage quietly over 3000 to 5000 steps.
Eating has become special as I have seen enthusiasm alone allows one to eat same chapaties or puris. The other breakfast choice has been upma of sooji and made of poha. Oil we have consumed less so In last 140 plus days we have had fried puris just 2 or three times.
When one is confined to the home and have a 4 member family the balcony and the terrace are new spaces to move .
I have also learnt to see it raining the day time and also in the night when window glasses play back the pitter patter od the rain drops.
Listening to the thunder is another quiet hobby. When engrossed in watching for the light that appears before the sound of the thunder.
School days science exams always tested our knowledge of speed of light and sound.
I don’t have to call my mother through sister as she left her body 75 days ago and not with CoVID.
The travel scare kept me away from the most important funeral after 1998 when my father left his body in Mumbai. Mother was with my sister in Ahmedabad.
The CoVID witch or ghost can I call, has provided new ways to live, eat, sing, dance, meditate, sleep or wake up.
Everyone is scared of the milkman so we closed his account. The newspaper vendor is also off our list. The garbage collector of wet waste is one more point of fear and terror. The dry garbage collectors gives us lots of pains of storage. His visit ls are just once in 7 or ten days. I won’t dare to call any war rooms to collect garbage.
Happy writing this update after many days of no blogging. But I have got ready for a certificate for completing a 8 weeks digital learning course .

Will show you my certificate once it arrives . I wish my certificate has a date on it .

Happy days be safe and secure inspite of unlock three where yoga and gym centres are also opened.
The scare has not gone web friends still discuss increasing cases and deaths
May god show us nice days good guests soon

What are things you can live without ?

It’s been 103 days after the first lock down. We had lockdown for quite some days now it’s Un-lock. When will the lock vanish is a valid thought and all need to support the administration and the government we have elected to rule and keep all safe .
Quite a few things now are out of my life for good.i am sure it’s for good .
Newspapers have gone out for good . Any way they spread views not news .
I can now do without an early morning paper before breakfast and have been cheerful and alive through these over 110 days of new way of living locked Inside home for safety and for keeping alive.
I can love without so much television and addictive viewing of channels after Mahabharata and ramayan finished on door darshan in quick time.
Drastic changes have occurred in eating habits. All that is served on the table is now safe
I have been off ice creams for quite some time. Over 40 days I believe
Sweets chocolates have also gone off my list of things to eat. Honestly chocolates I have cheated on once or twice in last 70 days.
Can do without ironed shirts feel no formal meetings in sight except for the zoom video better be well dressed and look nice
Shaving I have not given up. I do it daily. Having a clean look makes you feel fresh
Choosing vegetables on the road haggling with the ooor vendors is also out of my life for I have not gone outside
Thanks and gratitude are due to big basket JioMart and market next along with other delivery apps and channels for soaps and masks.
Have made learning new skills a part of daily living.
Joined the digital learning programs of #DigitalDeepak and undergone faithfully the webinars and Q @A sessions . Also got connected to new and young enthusiastic groups who taught me few important things about affiliate marketing blogging and also technicals of the net.
Now have a new blog and a new domain in my own name and an amazing hosting site . #hostinger is the host I have developed intense love for and #wordpress for its resources
Do check my new domain

How would cricket and other games be played post CoVID?

One significant victim of the new normal will be Playing cricket . It has been normal in a game be it in twenty-twenty or the 50 over ODIs where action is filled with spitting, kissing  hugging ,high fives and even piling upon a batsman or bowler when the game is won and over .
The new guidelines for playing cricket indoor or outdoor would prohibit spitting on the ball while bowling . The spitting on the ball  or on the hands and applying on the ball has been a  traditional age old practise in cricket . And now banning the spitting on  the ball will affect the spinners and fast bowlers so also players who used to do the polishing and handing over to the bowlers.
Social distancing is another area of concern as in a game of cricket it’s very very normal to hug profusely and kiss and stand close to each other while fielding or hug after a batsman has scored a big score or hit the winning runs or bowled out a batsman or the team.
If a distancing norm is strictly implemented the Batsman standing close to the stumps and the wicketkeeper standing up to the stumps will be violating the 6 feet distance and wearing a face mask  would smudge the sound of the appeals behind and in front of the stumps.
What happens to the close in fielders standing so close to each other and the traditional huddle will be questioned soon .
Hugging ,kissing ,high fives and spitting all around on a hot humid day of cricket will raise quite a few questions.
Wonder what would be the penalty for violating the norms ? Will it be a no ball if you spit ? Will it mean a free hit for the batting team
Cricket is one game like hockey, kabbadi and football be most impacted by the distancing norms.
What about wrestling would it be out for few years of the CoVID?
Will judo like  marshal arts be impacted with no touch norms ?
Running will be easy without touching each other.
Seating in cricket stadiums will take a hit when it’s opened for public viewing rather than allow closed games be telecast for sponsors.
Hope the fears about CoVID is soon gone and normal but new normal life allows enjoying cricket. Sponsors are definitely not happy with the way plans  are afoot for the T20 games in Australia or the IPL planned to be shifted to UAE or SA

Let’s wait for unlock 3 or 4 with Mumbai not in a happy situation and freedom of normal life also is not visible soon .

Games and normal life it self is going to be impacted very badly and all have to adjust or fall in line to be safe and live happily .

Redefined new normal for dress sense

Dressing sense will undergo a change for ever . Covering more areas of your body will be good to prevent any infection on account of touch
Men will find it difficult to be macho where exposure of chest hair or biceps was in. Now it’s good to be dressed full sleeved shirt close collar and covering the neck with a scarf will be fashionable and safe. The face mask will see innovative styles of masks. Masks will match the shirt or contrast with trousers. Masks will be part of uniform in the new normal. I foresee hijab become fashionable for air hostesses to cover max portion of their face and body neck and more.
Caps and close covered monkey caps may become new fashion and normal even in summers . Thin cotton will be for the summer and winters will see use of nice wools or thicker fabric to cover face neck and head too. Scarfs and masks will be the new innovation space in fashion.
Gloves for driving scooters and bikes will be normal for all seasons. Leather gloves will be difficult to be reused so easily . May two layered gloves like cricketers gloves will be fashionable for use ion all seasons but thinner and softer.
Women will find themselves better off well covered head to toes.
Fashion scholars have good chance of innovating masks gloves and new scarfs.
So also full sleeves shirt will be more formal. Surely T shirts with shirt sleeves may go out of fashion.
Cars with all windows closed will be best way to travel though black windows may find Road transport authorities objecting to it for road safety.
Jackets or shirts may find small hidden pockets for saving sanitizers nicely closed. The pants may also have hidden pockets on the inside of waists for hiding pint sized or smaller sanitisers.
Sari users may opt for leggings inside the Saree and winters see the use of inners for all travellers and office goers.
As new normal will all change the way we work from home dress at home with zoom and google meets asking for cameras being on for key meetings that are official.
A yoga guru was talking of eating fresh food latest 90 minutes after cooking and to avoid all items keeps on refrigerators. The delivery systems of vegetables and groceries may see packaging and ready bags or suitcases to store vegetables fruits with key compartments.
Warm drinks will also be fashionable with more of herbal drinks or ginger lemon and honey being the favourite for throat safety .
Dress well eat well drink safe and be safe the new normal for all who are alive.
Stay safe love long

Daily schedule changes some days

5:15 am was my wake up time and still the alarm rings At the same time I sleep a bit again partially in thoughts some dreams and some time to just lie down

5:53 is the main alarm to allow me to go down to the ground floor where the TV is situated in the drawing room The meditation is broadcast on DoorDarshan India or DDIndia.com at 06:00 am IST (GMT+ 5:30)

After meditation relax drink warm water with clarified butter in the warm water on an empty stomach . Another option of five or six black raisins soaked in a cup of water to be taken on an empty stomach in the morning

Take one fruit first to quench hunger before the breakfast which is served by 9:00 am I took a mango for many days Cut and eat it

Choose a Mango or an apple and someday Musk melon

Fruit choice depend on the season

Have breakfast at 8:45 to 9:25 and eat it slow

Choices are usually beaten rice or Poha and slightly mixed with Coriander leaves and pea nuts to taste Sooji is a second choice and some days Idlis Dosa and rarely fried Puris with vegetables Chapaties or Indian Wheat flat Breads for breakfast Mix of ginger cumin seeds and lemon forms part of the warm water drink after breakfast

Lunch is served by 13:00 hours Meditation is all days at 12:00 noon to 12:30 or so and the whole family has been blessed by Sri Sri RaviShankar ,the guru of joy After lunch I do roam round the living room while skipping g through the TV channels or just keep listening to the dialogues vaguely not really watching the movie

Some days do lie down and scan through blogs sites and some music and short films

Evening I walk over 2500 steps on the terrace for about 45 minutes and if it’s raining walk inside the living room in long steps to the kitchen and back

19:30 is meditation for the evening Some days Sri Sri will be interacting with health workers or other dignitaries from around the world and key point is please guide us to visualise the future and suggest steps to deal with it

Few evenings I have dinner with family who love eating before meditation. I choose to eat after meditation by 8:15 pm

9:00 pm is webinar time on digital marketing steps

10:30 is switch off time to rest unless I chat for a few minutes with some friends and relations between 10:00 and 10:20 pm

That’s a routine I have many days keeps me safe sure at home and happy chilled and calm

Redefine a few important things in life

Redefining quite a few things in life will be the new normal.
Relationships will definitely undergo intense changes. What is new normal?  Compassion will get priority and men will also be expected to own this quality. The old always defined women as the compassionate being, loving being and caring one . Man will have to take more responsibility for the family. If the lady is on a call from office , the kid who is in the toilet will need help from papa or brother to get his soiled pants or undergarments washed . The Male washing the child in the toilet will need to know it’s not dirty to do ,but the necessary new normal.
Living together will have a new meaning . Things men never cared for will now get priority . Do you know the price of onion? Get ready to cut onions and cry . Crying will be the new normal if you are a man also . It won’t be just women who have emotions . Men will also find themselves emotional crying ,washing babies and kitchen vegetables .
When all the authority or being real man meant being mean, loud , hard talking and rude . The new normal will see men calling office to leave their jobs if they feel there is sufficient resources on hand . They choose to take a permanent break if they are in late fifty to support an older parent or in law or brother .
Compassion love sharing caring the domains of women will now welcome men to do work at home that invites compassion with light authority.
Few employees of many years of service called their company that they wish to leave the job to be home. They want to spend time with the new grandkids and with their wife who needs support .
HR will find new requests for leave or work from
Home in many cases. Men may call up for absence to tend to a child wife or father.
Be ready to redefine life values and key relationships
Time to welcome a redefined life which allows both men and women be kind compassionate and deliver soft authority. This will allow teams to trust and support colleagues needing help
Always listen to a silent colleague child or parent. Some communicate anger in silence .
Give a ear and help with your shoulder to give support
Life is now new and undergoing change
Welcome the new you new normal and be happy

Tooth brush , how frequently do you change ?

Tooth brushes are like so intimate. Like the inners , you don’t share a toothbrush ever with any one however intimate you may be with them.
I prefer to change tooth brushes once in 60’days. Is it too long to use one brush? Keep it safe not left to be impacted by dust dirt or soaps or any insect pest or tiny creatures.
Sensitive unltra soft and gentle on the gums is what I prefer to use as I have very soft gums and they tend to bleed if tough bristles are used .
Tooth paste brands,  I also prefer ones that give me a taste of cloves . I don’t know about charcoal that used to be considered LS once is now in fashion and gel tooth pastes with charcoal blended in gel .
Mint is an all time favourite taste for tooth paste.
Spicy, minty, sweet and fluoride and anti fluoride chemical free are all combinations. I been searching one that gives my gum astringent feel  or tightness. Could not find a paste with Astringent . Triphala, I am told gives me that feel, so also Amla or gooseberry flavour in paste makes my gums tighter at the end of the brushing.
I use few brands in some days.
Gum tone is an all time favourite for ages to deal with soft gums. SHY.NM paste is something that feels warm when applied on teeth and promises glass coating when used .
Children prefer sweet and wish some of the pastes are edible . Brush and eat could be an option however stupid it might appear.
Brushes have climbed the cost ladder and today brushes of whatever kind have crossed Rs 200 also for soft bristles , ultra soft and what more soft I wonder.
Many brands provide promises of being kind to your gum and teeth enamel . I wonder some use brushes angrily and brush with such ferocity that scares me and I fear that  they wish to brush off the enamel on the tooth for good or the tooth for good .
Quantity of paste used is also a discussion in some circles .
Comment on how many brushes do you use in a year or should I go for changing each period of six weeks ?
Love to hear from readers Thanks happy brushing and happy paste flavours

Fun redefined this lockdown.

Redefine Fun in lockdown

Fun can take new meaning when you choose to enjoy it yourself . Generate fun in various things you do, watch , read or listen to .
Easy ways include so many ideas.

1- Listening  to music is one way of enjoying and having fun. I set up my Bose Soundtouch30 after it was bought five years ago. It is now updated and has access to over 100,000 internet radio stations. You can keep changing six presets as you wish. Amazon music also plays on that. If you have interest in Apple Music pay and use it . Premium Spotify also plays on it . These three can give you access to over a few million or now billion numbers and albums. You may listen it on a good headset or just blast it in your room.
2- Watch TV on any of the DTH packages you have. The channels can keep you glued for hours . Desist late nights and dark rooms to save your eyes. Don’t watch on tiny (13 inches also becomes tiny ) iPads in dark rooms.
The smart TV can also stream Apple TV on it to get access to Netflix (you can access on 4 screens ) ZEE5,  Amazon Prime movies and music.  Many video creators are also available on FB that you can stream. Hundreds of video creators have mushroomed with short stories and movies. Caution is recommended when viewing few of those. One strange name is ULLU that also has subscriptions and content that needs caution to view with family. I mean horror sex and gory videos.

3- You tube also has its premium version to view unlimited content. I love the amazon music content available on amazon prime subscription (free on airtel thanks earlier )  Internet  browsing comes naturally while searching for nice movies and old songs.
The music has old songs instrumental numbers and lilting audio of the old Indian Hindi music besides a host of other languages to choose from.
TV, DTH and Apple TV or other providers can drive you crazy and keep you glued for days may be.
Besides music and TV you may choose hobbies like painting on paper cloth or your own walls.

4- Hobbies like painting - My daughter does fabric painting on white or plain inners and also on her bedroom walls.

5- Photography is also fun if you love nature the rains the lightning these days and the sound of thunder to record. Taking good pix from balcony or video from windows of the rains. sunrise or sunset is great fun. Get ready to get wet top if it rains suddenly
Some may consider it insane lying down on the terrace for fun while you have your iPhone or the camera with you.

6- Recoding time lapse - One seemingly very simple fun is lying supine  on the  terrace and clicking a video on time lapse of 2-3 minutes of the moving dark clouds and nature at dawn or dusk. Both my daughters tried it live last evening. The rains came soon after their Fun.

7- Dancing and singing in your own room to the music is easy and it’s no cost to you.

8-Doing yoga online with help of the SriSri yoga experts is also fun if you love yoga and health practices.

9- Yoga with music is also super great fun.

10- For many chefs in the making cutting vegetables is fun. I now love doing home kitchen Seva after the experience of kitchen Seva at the art of living kitchen while attending silence programs.

Solo fun also includes peeling fruits like pomegranates silently. Cut, peel ,collect the pomegranate pearls of health and watch your hands , dress as it can stain your clothes permanently. I find silently cutting vegetables peeling fruits like mangoes and apple as great fun.

11- Cooking is also fun. I learnt it this lockdown. Ocra cutting and cooking a nice dish was fun. Rolling chapatis is also easy if you love it to support home kitchen Managers.

I just saw  Subbus Kitchen  on You Tube has reached 100000 subscribers. It provides easy recipes for home cooking. Mostly sweet dishes dosas and good vegetarian delicacies.

12- Singing karaoke is  absolute fun if you have streaming music I hinted in this article.

13- With some caution eating is also fun.
Be safe while eating and walk move and practice some exercise as constipation  can not be fun.

14 - Did I miss reading books and poetry. Non fiction and fiction are both worth reading. Many find it fun to read mystery and horror also. Not these days. I would prefer to read and enjoy light romance, self help and maintain peace in the mind.

15- Writing is equally fun if you have been attracting good traffic to your blogs and maintaining to hold the interest of the readers and also to buy items marketed by you online.

The points here are just a small list of items to have fun. I have excluded drinking or having dangerous substances as I don’t define it as fun once it hits you.
Dance sing cook eat listen watch and celebrate life .
Life is a celebration even if it’s lockdown.
Thanks Gurudev SriSri Ravi Shankar who taught finding fun in small events and circumstances.

Creating the customer persona

 Creating the Customer Persona
- Assignment 2 submitted by Muraidharan R Nair, Bangalore.
The second class of the Internship Group 3 began with a quick summary of lesson one assignment. The overall speed of delivery of the assignments was very high. Delays in submission of the assignment occurred only when one thinks time for a perfect presentation is short. Mistakes may occur when the job is done fast and it was discussed that mistakes are a source of future benefits.
The topic of assignment 2 is creation of the Customer persona. A short survey was recommended and a summary of the Customer may be arrived at by analysing the same in a Google Survey or other instruments of survey.
This author has used a survey instrument and ran it to a group of 10 friends.
The findings will be summarised at the end of this assignment.
The present paper is based on the class session on 23r May, 2020.
● The discussion centred round the topic of Marketing.
Marketing is basically a one on one conversation with a prospect for the generation of business of selling a product or service.
The conversation becomes easy and useful when there is trust. The marketer has to ensure that the prospect has trust and only then a transaction can occur.
● The marketer needs to converse with the client in a friendly manner as a true friend who trusts you.
● Communication is best when the talk is authentic, real and one that is relatable by the client.
● Authentic and real conversations can bring real results.
● The better marketer is one who has a wealth of experience, who has proficiency in
language(s).
● Ability to relate to the client and to share wealth of experience allows speed of
connecting with the client or customer.
● An experienced marketer is one who has travelled well, who has more relationships and
good networks of individuals with whom he can relate and do business.
● The good marketer is also one who besides connecting with the audience also is open to
learning new insights in to the topic.
● The marketer needs to focus on who is the real audience. All cannot be connected with.
Having too many in the audience can delay results in business.
● Once the points of marketing are known it is important to connect with the right audience. Connecting to the right target audience can generate good business.

 ● It is nice to connect to the audience with right mental conversations.
● Using simple language is good to connect. Email and messaging directly to the client is more powerful than generic social media posts. Good email skills can enhance marketing abilities.
● When the connection with the customer is personal the transaction of sale becomes easy.
● When communicating in a written Article it is important to keep the flow sharp enough to keep the connection long. Craft the communication carefully to keep the attention of the reader for long. When the interest of the reader is diverted by contents that are meandering or losing focus on the subject at hand the possibility of losing the client is large.
● Instead of keeping communication boring, it is advisable to keep the subject crisp, short and communicate more in the unsaid.
● Once the communication moves away from the centre the subject is lost and the business transaction is sure to fail.
To summarise, Marketing is effective communication focused on the subject , the product in hand and the service. This communication needs to be authentic from real life experience of the marketer. This will allow easy connections with crisp messaging and email to communicate with the right target audience.
The choice of the audience and time used for communication is important for the transaction success. It is good to be focused on the topic at hand, keep it crisp and make it short to ensure outstanding results.

Work, Life and Me time can be balanced by Breathwork

Problems have a habit of being carried from business (work) to home (personal life )and vice versa.

Very smart human beings know to switch off and on the two parts of life. Switching off is an art one needs to learn by practice of yoga, pranayama and meditation.

Breathwork is key and asanas also allow you to reach home and wash your hands and feet and sit on the haunches and bow down in the manner Muslims pray. Bow down and touch your forehead on the floor and spread both your hands forward palms on the floor for a few moments. If you have difficulty spread the legs a bit under the belly or beside it.

This allows to switch off the office and let the energy flow out of your to the earth and relax for a few minutes. Bingo you feel relaxed and ready for the family. I would suggest that hugging kissing and holding your kid or wife close as a sign of welcoming yourself home is good after the few moments of bowing down and clearing your energies.

The third dimension besides work, life is the Me time. Though the home is sometimes considered personal (it is not personal when the home is for a group of parents, kids and you) Balancing the three does require mind work and chiefly breathwork and no courses give effective inputs on mind management.

It is now documented that breath plays an important part in separating the three - work-life and me-time balance is achieved by breathwork
It is good to meditate daily and use the breath to balance the three dimensions and ensure rest and sleep.

Lockdown diaries and insights  (revised)

Air travel for domestic airlines opened.

Travel in Lockdown is a new nightmare

Indian domestic flights  have just opened up. The plans were speeded up for opening the Indian skies to domestic Airlines. It’s the hurry insisted upon by the companies who feared closure of further delayed. The speed with which it was launched gives scope for lots  of new experiences and learning.

Airlines travel won’t remain a great luxury any more. The preparation and actual experiences will be unique and sharpened awareness of the issues related to such closed and small group travel will become mandatory.

Critics will have a gala time finding faults in the process and the mistakes that are sure to be made. Mistakes can be costly not just for the one making it but for all Co passengers and the crew of the airlines.

Indians are sure to learn to travel light  as there would be lot of difficulties involved in tugging along or pulling the baggage.

Security checks will be more strict and scrutiny will be tough. Touch and contact of passengers will have to suitably planned with use of long handled equipments of scrutiny.

Thermal screening will require high precision machines . There were issues of passengers taking tablets before journey to escape being traced with fever or illness .

The focus of the security team scanning baggage will require further sharpened awareness of the risks of carrying items of soiled clothes and medical items on board.

Cabin baggage will require further screening on entry into the plane.

Airlines may have its own thermal screening for accuracy to ensure the readings are not missed or skipped or bribed for passing through at the entrance of the airport.

First time errors are bound to be highlighted by ruthless story tellers and professional liars among the press that is waiting to declare failure of every activity of the government and its agencies.

Drinking water on the plane will have further challenges. Carrying own bottles from home may be a good option as services on the airport will have challenges of serving without touch and touching glasses or water stations. Water station designs will have to suitably modified for remote sensor linked water supply.

Many will require guidance for self check ins as even the well trained can be caught napping.

Service on the food courts will require highly trained and focused staff and agents. Hygiene standards and packaging will also need very precise high quality service to ensure safety of all passenger using the facility.

Remaining starving for over 150 minutes will be a challenge for diabetics and needy who may be allowed to carry limited safely packed dry food.

New customer service norms may need invisible agents , as also distant ones and safely situated or willing to give instructions from afar to avoid touch. breath, cough or sneezing close to passengers.

The health norms of the airlines staff will undergo drastic change and daily check ups tests will be the key to their excellence at work.

Those allergic to food smells and smoke or scents can be in great trouble in front of the service agents and security agents.

Security check without close touch or groping can be challenging for the security officers who need to be alert for terror groups or anti national elements waiting to create more trouble in the country .Carrying items banned on flight will  need closer sophisticated automated check in movement to the counter for check in.

Wish and pray all airlines work in close coordination with police, health officers, doctors, government officers and the airlines top officers and make this opening up a success for all.

Some states have not logged in to the new tightened security norms and Mumbai is one centre not prepared to get in line for this service. It may  join later keeping in minds it’s unpreparedness.

Hope safe airports safe players and easy

Travels becomes a reality soon once international travel begins soon.
