From the days of lockdown I have received tons of messages on my cellphone reminding me that the CoVID19 has impacted attendance in organisations likes banks insurance companies e-commerce and municipal services. All of them remind me please use the digital apps and not trouble their staff who may not be able to deal with the calls at the call centre or the services at the counters
Airtel ,TataSky , Hathway my service providers tell me please use their apps
Airtel has a great apps for key customers “Airtel thanks “ to pay the bills instantly track balance and usage of data
TataSky cannot boast of a great apps it does not recognise the change of password easily
Hathway is unable to rise to the service standards that JIO may impose on the lazy Hathway standards Thank god their apps deal with issues though very slowly and painfully
Banks like Indian bank remind me not to visit their branch and rely on the apps and the ATM though they prefer that you don’t withdraw money and stick to payments online
For online and apps services I would surely rate ICICI iMobile and its ICICIDirect apps as brilliant apps that allow 360 degree banking trading , except cash in hand and deposit of cash
IMobile I find ahead of others and keep one step further than fraudsters by managing the password very efficiently
In the gulf managing online transactions is a nightmare
SBI card is a blend of tradition bureaucracy and speed of apps
SBI yono apps is creating waves
I always dreamt of a cardless Remote withdrawal from ATM and yono has made it real
Indian digital transaction have been supported by banks and googlepay arrangements UPI based payments BHIM pay have all transformed payment systems
The local vendors have all started using google pay BHIM UPI My coconut vendor on the road side also accepts Phonepe Paytm GooglePay amd whatapp oagmwnts
I am waiting for the beggar to accept card payments and google Paytm payments
Indian digital payments systems have attracted Singapore and UAE
Many other nations don’t have the easy digital home payments for grocers and vendors
The CoVID 19 has shown the value of contact less payments online
This allows social distancing through digital distancing methods
Marriages have also started being solemnised online digitally though videos
Even courts have started working online through video conferencing
Police also relies great deal on digital methods in forensic investigations
Lots of ease of Operations have been introduced to make e-commerce easier day by day
Customer satisfaction and ratings have also gone digital
It’s all about happy customer happy businesses through happy staff
