His mysterious ways of helping us through life 

I remember from 1998 I had never visited chennai and had a train to take further to gorakhpur 

I had WL 154 AC chair car to chennai I got it confirmed and at chennai a young very young  child boy of may be 10 took my single strolley and I had to check if my gorakhpur ticket is confirmed it was in the next bldg out of the platform I landed in 

It was dark the boy kept chattering saying if the clerk lifts his pen be sure your ticket is confirmed and I know your train comes in 11 platform at 1120 pm

He took me to the counter my ticket was confirmed for gorakhpur and said lets walk back 

All the time he was having the bag on his head 

He kept chatting as I was also nervous of the darkness near the building he left me on the designated platform and said the first class coach will be here 

So lucky you have a confirmed ticket 

I asked him the dues for the head load to and fro He said give me something - 5 rs he said I was shocked he could have asked me 50 I would have gladly given

I paid the sum and gathering my baggage sat down and looked around the platform - the young kid was no where 

Unbelievable it was the Guru's (Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji) way of caring 

How amazing he cares for us in many ways

#RPS Pune have begun well by beating MI in IPL 9 first game at Mumbai

The IPL show yes the show just opened on 9th with the RPS -rising Pune Supergiants lead by Dhoni playing Mumbai Indians the defending champion side of 2015. It was a new side of unknown elements some new against a professional well set side of batsmen bowlers and fielders lead by Rohit whose win record is better than Dhoni's in the IPL.

The new team that was just collected from a few nice buys by the franchise has four captains in  Dhoni of India  Steve smith of Australia Faff if SA , The Maverick Kevin Peterson and Mitch marsh 

The Dhoni lead team has the MI buckle under some decent pace and accurate fielding bowling at half the side in the hut before the 50 runs mark was reached 

It was left to Harbhajan's 47 in even time and few lusty strokes to take the team across 100 to 121 

RPS opened with the ever dependent professional Rahane and Faff who scored at even pace and scored 66 before Harbhajan's straight ball got Faff out 

The RPS won with 32 balls to spare and Rahane unbeaten at 66 ( last score being a siXer )

The RPS by beating the defending champions have set high standards and Dhoni's stamp of class was visible in the discipline of the teams fielding bowling 

The IPL has begun well let's look ahead for more thrills 

This loss won't affect Mumbai but boost the confidence of RPS

#Dhoni pulled off a winner with Hardik Pandya executing his plan 100%

#Dhoni still has it in him 

The India Bangladesh Match on 23rd March night was not for the weak hearted or the sick and old who can't stand such immense pressure 

For me the man of the match and a future winner for India is Hardik Pandya 

However Dhoni had to bring out of his bag the best to get from Hardik 

The 19th over of Bhumra was the key to the victory and the last ball exposed the Bangladesh team that can still be choked at the crucial end 

Dhoni's trust in Bhumra after his  4 runs miss on the boundary and the lose over in which he conceded too many runs and his dropping a vital catch gave Bhumra his life back of bowling those relentless Malinga - type Yorkers 

The final ball that let down Bangladesh was their feeling that they can end a match like Dhoni instead of a push or Nick around. Each of the batsman who faced ball 4.5,6  of the last over thought he could end it with a flourish instead of the single to tie and two to win 

Dhoni still has in him that vital element that makes him stand out among indian captains 

Hardik has in him that eagerness to learn from his captain and bowl to the plan set up by the Indian think tank that saw wily old for Nehra who was keen to be share all his bag of tricks with the team captain and Hardik 

Surely the match was win by experience wile and that extra edge that Dhoni still has in him 

Wish India safe entry into the knock and kudos to the young tigers who are truly ready to cause few future knock outs and India just won it first under 150 match out of 10 played under 150

Happiness is not tied to time people situations

See, in the world there is no end to problems. Some or the other problems keep coming up, either financial, or health related, or relationship related problems. And if none of these are there, there is the problem of someone saying something to you and you feeling upset about it. The mind keeps getting caught up in problems. You should rise above this, and understand that the nature of the world is like that.

See, if you have a home which is near the highway, how can you complain about noise? Similarly, if someone has a home in the forest and they are afraid of animals, then what can you say? If someone has a home near the ocean, and they are afraid of water, what can be said to them? Similarly, when you are in the world, there will be some pleasant experiences and some unpleasant experiences. There will be some blame and some praise, all of this will happen, but none of these should touch you, you should just keep moving ahead. So, sit happily, walk happily and do everything happily.

Someone asked me yesterday, 'What was the happiest time of your life?' I said, 'What? The happiest time? Why do you tie 'time' with 'happiness'? I am happiness'.

Time changes, sometimes there are good times and sometimes there are bad times. If you tie 'happiness' to 'time', then happiness will also change as times change. But when you know, that happiness has nothing to do with time, then you can be happy at all times. And this is knowledge!

We tie our happiness to people, places, situations, or time. All that you need to do is move away from this and realize that your nature is happiness, and it has nothing to do with time. This is the highest knowledge. It may sound very difficult, but it is not impossible. Any fool can be unhappy when things are not okay. But it takes courage to be happy even when things are falling apart. And you are all courageous and strong!

Hope the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Benares gets some face lift and all expect NaMo to clean the few centuries old filthy place 

The entrance is like that of a bank cash area 

The narrow labyrinthian route needs a good guide 

The slippery route had few devotees fall flat in stretches without a carpet on the floor 

Indian temples need lot of care attention and spaces organised for devotees to move freely 

One way entry and another for exit would be an alternative to be explored 

The filth close to the entry and enroute to the Visalakshi temple is something I cannot imagine . There is excreta of animals -cows dogs and left over food and plates of food thrown around , garbage adds to the stink and the pathway is littered with flowers and wet places 

God bless this township that needs a thorough beautification plan like Amritsar which can boast of a group of individuals who care for the lake of nectar - happy to see it was referred to as nectar and no one litters flowers and muck into the lake some learning required from the nice punjabis and the visitors there unlike Benares that is a huge area filled with dirt

Hope the PM notes that the city has a poorly rated railway station and is way down in standards 

Few ghats are now clean but practise of burning the dead on the shores needs some change  that can help clean the Ganges

Benares is too filthy needs prayers and corporate care

Food prices in Bangalore and Benares are the same 

Cities are so different 

Benares is filthy and dirty beyond my farthest dreams 

The task to bring some decency is huge and gigantic 

Corporate sponsorships of ghats will do wonders 

Electric crematoriums will reduce filth floating into the Ganges

Lessons learnt:

1. Young lion like Manoj Pandey who played with virat Kohli is just 4 ODIs old and one century when it counted most. He displayed qualities of daring patience and ability to absorb pressure in the presence of MSDhoni he blossomed 

2. Gurukeerat Mann and Rishi Dhawan failed in the ODI no 4 to get India over the line

3. Dhoni did stand and let Manoj excel His straight 4 and the massive 6 did not go wasted for Manoj to score the last 6 runs when he was on 98

4 MSD is no longer as strong a force and needs to restart 

5 Bhuveneswar  is lost in all forms

6 Yadav  loses his concentration very soon he has potential He is express sometimes 

7 Ishant can give away 16-20 in an over which can take away the match He needs to be rested 

8 Rohit won the man of the series and all feel his 99 was in the winning cause when two centuries of Kohli went in vain 

9 Aussies hold Kohli in awe and they like a hard nut to play with as they Are big boys 

10- Ajinkya continues to be mister consistent 

11- India had the big scores big centurions and no wins 

12-India  again broke the string of victories of Aussies like the earlier your to Australia India continues  to know to beat Australia at their homes 

13- Indian youth won hearts and lost matches the future is bright 

I enjoyed the last match 

14-India retains it second position in ODI ranking and its short stay as no 1 in tests
